Troop 29 History
1924 - Troop 29 was first chartered in the Alta,
Dutch Flat and Gold Run area on March 1, 1924 under Scoutmaster Raymond Graham.
1932 - The Troop was disbanded from 1932 to 1949.
1949 - Troop 29 became active in Rocklin under the
leadership of Franklin Richerson and was sponsored by the Rocklin PTA.
1959 - The Rocklin Lions Club assumed sponsorship
and has remained as the Troop's benefactor.
1962 - From 1962 until 1994, the Troop met at the
Finnish Temperance Hall. (Excluding the restoration period when the Troop met at
Parker Whitney Elementary School.)
1994 - Troop 29 began meeting at the Rocklin
Community Center in September.
