Walter Orrin Vipond  born April 26, 1945 went to sit at Jesus’ feet on April 28, 2007.  Walter was surrounded by his family and friends when he succumbed to a year long battle with cancer.  He was born in Kalkaska , Michigan .  Walter moved to California in 1959 with his parents where later he and ex wife Bevelee raised their children.  Walter loved trains and volunteered as a Docent at The California State Railroad  Museum.  He was proceeded in death by parents, Rupert and Ellen Vipond, Sister Wilda Jean, and life long friend Dana Rudolph.  He is survived by Sister Ida, husband Tom, Brother Dave Adams, wife Dorinda, Daughters Tammie, husband David, Teresa, and husband Robert, son David, wife Peggy.  Grandchildren Heather, husband Aaron, Matt, Scott, Jessica, Megan, Samantha, Dakota, and Autumn.  

Services were held on Tuesday May 1, 2007 at  2:00 p.m.
